In a recent article published by the Sydney Morning Herald, Economics writer Jessica Irvine posed the question “why don’t governments focus more on what really matters for wellbeing?”
Isn’t is interesting to see that some governments around the world are taking notice, and responding to the fact that our wellbeing is more important than our work. This article serves as a warning to both government and employers alike, that the pursuit of happiness is far from futile but an economic and political fundamental.
