When Garth and Susie first met in the early 90s, they became instant friends. Little did they realise that many years later their relationship would evolve into what it’s become today.
They decided to combine their wealth of knowledge and life experiences to have a holistic impact on people’s health and wellbeing.
Susie is an established leader and senior educator with a successful career spanning 25 years in the management of teams, development and implementation of superior quality learning and teaching programs across a diverse range of industries, business sectors and local communities. Garth as a professional communicator and presenter, having worked for over three decades as a radio broadcaster, entertainer and actor.
Together these two have a genuine enthusiasm for identifying what is really needed to get the best out of ourselves and each other.
We know it’s become of great importance and a top priority of employers to value the wellbeing of their workforce. Research shows wellbeing is not just the absence of disease or illness. It is a complex combination of a person's physical, mental, emotional and social health factors. It is shown to be strongly linked to happiness, productivity and life satisfaction.

The things that wellbeing is not gives us a clue as to how far removed society is from where we deserve to be. The opposite to wellbeing is defined by the words: fear – failure – hurt – loss – sadness – injury – misery– unhappiness.
In short, wellbeing could be described as how you feel about yourself and your whole life. That of course then has a direct impact on the culture, morale, and efficiency of any organisation of any size, in any industry. A healthy business starts with a team of well beings. We know this only too well, because we were there too. Life for us was harder than it needed to be, negatively impacting our relationship with each other and the people around us. We felt unhealthy, stressed, and uncertain about our future.
By discovering it for ourselves that it doesn’t need to be complicated, we found what it takes to improve our wellbeing and to enjoy a good life. We have developed ways to make practical improvements to live more productively and peacefully. Having developed our knowledge and skills we now share our story and what we have learned with others to give you a clear picture of what it means to be a well being.
